We sold our home as well as found a new home thru Tom. We had a very specific rural home setting we were looking for, which required quite a lot of searching on his part. He came up with a good many viable options. Our search ended up being over quite a large area which required a good bit of drive time. He was always willing to hit the road and get us into look at these houses. I was impressed with how he treated each of the homes we viewed. He made sure to knock prior to entering any of these homes. I make this point as a few other realtors showed up unannounced at our home and came walking right in much to our surprise. When we finally selected our home he was very good in the negotiation process. He was very professional and thorough in his job. I would fully recommend Tom to anyone looking to buy or sell.

My wife and I were in the unenviable position of looking to buy a home in an area where we didn't have any friends or family with recent experience to recommend an agent. We conducted an online search by: 1) seeing what agents popped up on Zillow next to houses that met our filter criteria, 2) reading reviews of those agents on Zillow, 3) cross-referencing the top contenders on Zillow with any other information available online (which was minimal), and 4) contacting a few agents by email. Our responses ranged from nothing(!) to Tom's response, which was head-and-shoulders above the rest. He responded in detail to all our questions. We set up an in-person meeting with Tom, by the end of which we were fairly certain we would choose him as our buyer's agent. We liked that he is experienced in more than one aspect of the business, is licensed in both MD and PA, was very patient in answering our questions, and put us at ease. We recently closed on our new home and are very satisfied with the overall experience. Tom was responsive and helpful, but not pushy. (My wife has always feared agents who try to steer you into spending more so they can get a bigger commission. We *never* got the feeling that Tom was trying to do this!) Unforeseen challenges always crop up. In our case, for example, there was some slowness on the part of the sellers and a contractor conducting inspection tests over the holiday period. We found his experience, knowledge, and judgment valuable in navigating these challenges and successfully closing the deal on schedule.

My wife and I needed to move and we had our hearts set on owning a home. Unfortunately, our income is on the lower end so we knew we wouldn't be looking for any mansions. From the very beginning he treated us like we were actual people, like we were important. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, reliable and funny. Tom has worked in various positions in real estate and he brought that knowledge to the table to guide us and help us stay informed every step of the way.
